Justin nodded as he took a bite of cake, swallowing before speaking. "Losing people is never easy, no matter how mad they are, it's a bit late but I'm sorry for your loss, I didn't know you were close." Justin used his fork to push the rest of his cake around on his plate. He wanted to eat it because it was there but he didn't have much of an appetite.
"It is odd but at the same time I think we have to try and get back to some version of normal. This," He motioned around the Great Hall, "I think Megan would have loved tonight, she would have been up there shouting at Wayne to take it off." He smiled and quietly chuckled. It wasn't often Justin let himself think about Megan or the other people they had lost but he was starting to. It wasn't just in times that he was already upset anymore either. He was starting to think about happy times they had and what she would think of random things that were happening in the rest of the Hufflepuff's lives. "Although..." he continued, "I don't think this auction could ever be described as any type of normal behaviour under any situation."
