Who: Luna, open to Kay and Justin When: Today, probably early afternoon Where: Ravenclaw Common Room Summary: Luna's curiosity gets the better of her again and she's devised another spell, this time to let her see magic as it really exists
Luna was excited, she had to admit it to herself. Her last spell had been such a success and now she wasn't afraid to try this spell as well. Her mother would be proud of her, Luna knew, but somehow she felt that her mother would have been proud of her no matter what she did. Still, Luna smiled distractedly to herself as she took her seat in the Ravenclaw Common Room. She was going to see magic in its truest form!
She wondered why no one ever wanted to do this. Really, it made sense. Why wouldn't a wizard want to see something that they can control? It was as simple as that to Luna Lovegood. She had other ideas, too, of why maybe people wouldn't want to see magic like this. Maybe it would be overwhelming, or very bad. But, she had two people whom she trusted above all else there with her when she started this experiment. She knew if anything were to go wrong, Kay would know what to do. He really had been a wonderful friend to her, and she was happy that he'd found Justin finally. Silly boys taking so long to ask each other out, in her opinion. However, Luna turned back to her spell that she'd written down, making sure her conjugations were correct and that her words were fine. If even one conjugation was wrong in the Latin form, anything could happen, Luna thought. And she didn't want just anything to happen.
