Who: Hermione Granger and OPEN When: December 29th, mid-afternoon Where: Quality Quidditch Supplies Summary: Hermione had to get out the house Rating: Well, that depends on who pops up
Hermione was glad Ron had showed up for Christmas Eve dinner. Even though the questioning and the jibes had been a bit embarrassing she didn't think she would have traded it for the world. Not that she would let Ron know that she was willing to take such kidding on his behalf. Merlin forbid any of his brothers ever learn that or they'd never be given a moment's peace. Speaking of peace, Hermione really needed some today. Sure, her uncle and his family were finally going home tomorrow but for now the baby had cried for the past two days and she really couldn't bear to deal with it for a moment longer.
With the money she'd gotten from her great-uncle tucked in her pocket, Hermione headed to Gringotts. After trading in the Euros for wizarding currency she deposited half into her account and pocket the rest for a bit of shopping. As she exited the bank her fingers played with the necklace and she sighed. What he'd given her had been so heartfelt and her gift had been practical, just as they always were. She knew that after their argument and the fact that he came anyway to surprise her she would need to step it up. Yes, Christmas was officially over, but that didn't mean she couldn't get him something else. Therefore, she passed her favorite store in favor of Ron's. Surely Quality Quidditch Supplies would have something less practical but equally as meaningful.
Quickening her pace, she approached the shop in little to no time. The bell rang as she pushed the door open to reveal a fairly crowded shop. It seemed several individuals had chosen today to come spend a bit of their Christmas funds.
