Kieran liked to overstep his boundaries. That was never a secret. And as much as he actually did have a high regard for Sister Mary Catherine and everyone who worked at the orphanage, he wasn't going to compromise who he was, not for them, not for anyone. He once again took Justin's hand, and he practically skipped inside the building. The sights and sounds feeling all too familiar. He smiled at Justin's question and leaned in to whisper in his ear, "You'll see."
Just then, two girls who looked about Kieran's age suddenly appeared before them. They were wearing matching black sparkling outfits and glittery eye makeup. The younger looking one gave Kieran a hug. "Is this him then?" she asked, giving Justin a curious once over.
"He's just as you described him, Kay," the other one said with a grin.
"Aye," replied Kieran. "This is Justin. And these would be me two gorgeous sisters. Nimmy and Dee."
The girl clinging to Kieran's side gave him a little wave. "Nimueh actually," she said. "And that's Darcy."
"It's so very nice to meet you, Justin," Darcy said. "We've saved seats for the both of ya in the front row." She took Justin's hand and led him over there. It seemed like the entire Bundy family had no regard for anyone's personal space.
"We're the closing act, Kay," Nimueh said, "And Quinn's gonna do her tap routine first."
To which they all said in unison, "Again."
"She does the same thing every year," he explained to Justin.
