Damon stared up at the sky for what seemed to be a very long time. His eyes were focused on finding individual stars, while his mind wandered over the possibility of this actually working out to his favor. With Astoria's hand in his though, he felt just the right amount of energy flowing between them for him to do what he had planned he was going to do.
Gently, he pulled Astoria closer, placing her in front of him with his chin on her shoulder. "You first. The night is dark enough and clear enough to make patterns without the scope." He took the opportunity of being in such close proximity to give her a light kiss on the cheek. He was probably the worst boyfriend in the world for all the thoughts that were running through his head, and he wished that things could move a little faster between them. Yet, the better part of him respected Astoria too much to pressure her into anything.
