Padma blushed at the thought of sneaking off with Anthony anywhere, and would have protested, but a few days ago, that such a thing was unlike ever to happen. After the rather unexpected turn that closed their Prefect rounds a few evenings prior, however, Padma was not so sure, and feeling rather daring at the thought.
She knew how difficult things were for Parvati this year, however, with so many of her House and friends missing or being ground slowly under the bootheels of the Carrows, and felt quite selfish at thinking too much on her own troubles of late. Padma gave her sister's forearm a squeeze, her own smile, now, an attempt to cheer.
"Do you want to go and send Hamir a letter professing your truest feelings on his character and prospects? I am sure I have some perfumed stationary."
