Anthony was startled by Padma's quick peck on the lips. It was nice, delightful even, by terribly hypocritical given the situation. Was it mere luck that the two students they just found were not themselves? Shouldn't they be more grateful that they lived in the same house and did not need to arrange covert rendez-vous in dark corners? It was rather unfair, in fact, that the people who were most advantageous to date were people of your own house - the same who had been closely linked to your own awkward adolescence.
It was clear that Anthony was distracted by these thought. Then Padma posed a riddle that left him muddled.
