"Good, it's not something you want to get addicted to, trust me." There were also numerous restrictions placed on smokers, and a lot of time people seemed to shun you. No one liked a smoker... he really ought to quit, but now that he didn't have to worry about it killing him, he had even less of a desire to give it up. "Five hundred? Damn..." That was far older than he had been expecting. "Nah, I was always taught that it was rude to ask a woman's age. If they offer it up willingly, that's one thing." Of course, if you were dealing with groupies, asking for an i.d. was necessary. "What is she? Not a were, I don't think they can get that old." He knew living that long wasn't the most appealing of ideas.
Of course he would use them for good. Evil wasn't his style. "Cora MacConnach, and I don't know honestly. I haven't spoken to her much just yet." Which probably wasn't a good thing, but the whole getting back into the swing of school had been keeping him busy. Plus, he had Ada to go to, if he had questions. There would eventually come a time, he was sure, when Ada might not have the answer, he would go to Cora then. "She's really cool, from what I can tell."
Rhett suddenly got a rather sheepish grin on his face, "I actually do have a few with me. Though, if I show them to you, you've got to promise not to tell anyone, all right? It's a bit geeky." Ada knew about them, but she was the only one, well besides Cassandra know. "Yeah, I've bought some of the older ones at flea markets. I actually bought an X-Men #2, at this place in New York, that was a great find." He's been way too excited when he found it... and had paid entirely too much for it. But, he'd do it again in a second. "You know, we should all go do something together. You, Ada, and I. We could all hang out, watch movies, or something." It would be a good way for them to spend more time together, without having the immediate awkwardness of it being just the two of them.
"Thank's darlin'." He gave her a wink. Before plucking another treat from the plate. Yes, more sweets were always welcomed.
