All Cassandra could really do was laugh and shake her head. "Don't worry, I have no plans to take up smoking. I have friends that seem to like it but then again they don't have to worry about lung cancer at any point in their lives." Nope, she didn't have any intention of taking up the habit, though maybe at some point she'd contemplate trying one just for the experience but she couldn't imagine that turning out any other way then her coughing and coughing some more. She nodded her head. "Yep, my guide is over 500 I think, or at least close to it. Though you're probably not supposed to ask a woman how old she is." She added with a grin. Though she didn't think Mrs. Hecatomb would be too offended. "As long as you only use that boost of power for good, not evil."
Cassandra's hand rested flat on her stomach for a moment. Made her think a little too much about... well a lot of things, none of which were going to linger when she was having a very nice conversation with Rhett. "The guides are really great. At least most of them from what I can tell. Who is yours? Is she a were like you?" There didn't seem to be a lot of teachers that were but seemed like it would be helpful if the guide was. "The counselors here seem pretty nice, but then again I don't have a whole lot to compare them too." She shrugged her shoulders. They probably had really schnazzy abilities that made them counselors though. That was kind of scary to think about.
"If you brought any of these comics with you I might have to borrow them. I don't think I've ever read one. Well wait I've seen them. People like to sell them at flea markets." It took a few minutes but her eyes did widen slightly as the meaning of fantasy sunk in a bit. Oh best to not touch that one with a ten foot pole or she'd never stop blushing! "Someone from the same state, that's great! Granted I have someone from the same state, well same house really though we didn't spend much time there together, Ada was gone before I was very old. But it is nice to talk to someone who is from where you are. No matter where they are now."
Brownie polished off in a record number of bites. She hadn't lied about having a sweet tooth. "I will definitely make you more, you'll be on my baking list. Right near the top."
