Re: (OMG rogue/gambit! <3 <3)
People could have experiences, beyond their age, there was no doubting that. "Eighteen is a big age peak, you're finally legal, you can vote, smoke if you like. But, don't smoke, it's a bad habit." Plus, Ada would kill him, he he gave her sister bad suggestions. "Are some of them that old? Damn..." He had yet to snoop around, and ask much about the teachers, so this was news to him. Chucking, he nodded his head. "Yeah, I feel young... Younger, since I was changed honestly. All the supernatural boost can make you feel like Superman almost." He had no delusions of grandeur though. He wasn't about to stand up against a bullet, or try to fly off the school roof.
"That's unfortunate, if it's true." With so many people, for so many different walks of life, there was no doubting, that some were alone in all of this. He, and Ada were damn lucky. They had each other to lean on. What about the others, who didn't have anyone to turn to? He had pity for them. "I'm glad there are the guides. For those who might not have anyone. It's like the school counselor, only, they actually know what they are talking about, and can do some good." He couldn't remember his high school counselor doing much of anything. Thank goodness it was different here.
"The movie is pretty good, but I've been reading the comics since I was a little kid. I think Rogue was my first crush. A southern girl, who flew around in a green, and yellow skin tight uniform, with a bomber jacket over it. That was the stuff of my first few fantasies." Rhett couldn't help but laugh, even if it was true, the idea of having a crush on a comic book character was kinda silly. But, when you're eleven, that's all you really know. "I've spoken to my guide, and one of the other professors, who is also from Louisianan. They were both really cool." He was curious about the others, especially since she told him, that some were four hundred years old. He smiled, "It's fine, I don't need to eat them all myself.... but, feel free to make me more."
