While Cassandra had certainly never sampled anything that gave her the munchies past just having missed a meal or two, she certainly did know the syndrome. It was hard to be friends with Micah and not understand that whole hoover effect when it came to tasty treats. Cassandra lifted a hand and crossed her fingers. "Here's to hoping." She said with a grin. Though it was clear by the look on her face that she wasn't too worried about that. The crumbs usually indicated they were snatched up. That and her own tastebuds couldn't be that off. Somewhat biased or not.
He did seem to just have that easy nature around him that made, at least her, feel relatively comfortable. Impressive really if she thought about it. Only a few people at the school had made her feel that way right off the bat. Her eyebrows arched up slightly as he spoke of voodoo, witches and all that. Of course there were witches here but they certainly weren't the broomstick halloween sort. "Oh, I've heard of voodoo, probably not like you have. I think my mother used to talk about it. But it was entirely a bad thing." Cassandra said with a shake of her head. "But a lot of stuff was and since I have seen witches around here that don't seem... bad to me, I think she might have been slightly misinformed." She said that, but it wasn't quite done with the proper amount of sarcasm. Cassandra had a few issues when it came to things that their mother had said, but she was working on throwing most of it out the window. "I think it all might depend on what kind of demons people are talking about. The kinds I'd always heard about before really weren't like the ones I've seen here. My guide teacher is and she certainly doesn't seem like something Satan sent into someone else's body." And that Axel guy certainly wouldn't fit into anyone else!
Cassandra smiled at his face as she mentioned blood flavored cake, had been her expression too. But she would have made it for Jeremiah if she could have figured it out. Good thing he also liked plain cake. The information on the whole full moon bit was important though. She knew that it had to be rough and more than disorienting. "I hear from a lot of people that it does get easier with time. That you remember more and can control it more, which I would think would be really important." Control was to her, so she liked to think she was't the only one that wanted to seek it out.
"Oh me, since I was little I've had visions. You know like of the future?" She offered by way of explanation, her head tilting to one side, though that did make a chunk of dark hair threaten to slide into her face. It was pushed back by one hand before she went on. "Usually it requires me to touch someone or something really close to someone. Sometimes it happens in dreams though. It's pretty much always confusing though. So I'm here, well I've been here for a little while since like August now." She finished, adding a smile onto the end. It was best to try and make it seem like she didn't entirely hate what she could do. No one needed a Debbie Downer!
