"Nah, I bet they were all eaten." If the other treats had been as good as the brownies, he couldn't imagine anyone passing them up. Or throwing them out. Who did that? A crazy person, that's who. No sane person, would pass up the chance of free baked goods. After all, there had to be at least a few people at the school with munchies. Pot was an all too familiar smell, and it had drifted into his room a couple of previous nights. "I'm positive they would be enjoyed." He grinned, as the imagine of stoned students, coming across the plate of treats filled his find. It would be like kids, on Christmas morning.
Rhett had been told before, that he was very easy to talk to. Hell, Ada made it a habit of confessing her sins to him, even though she knew he wouldn't pussy foot around the problem. He'd never been one, to say everything was okay, when it was far from it. Ada knew that, but she also understood that he had her best interest in mind. He expected more of her. So, whether he was a good listener, or not, depending solely, on who you happened to ask. "They are very good, so I don't think you're biased at all."
"Very different. I imagine it's more like a college. I never went to college, but I uh... dated a girl, who used to live the dorms on campus. Reminds me a bit of that." How his ex's room mate had hated him. "Well, back home, you have the undertone of weird shit every where. Witches, ghost, voodoo, old folklore. It's just apart of the culture, but like you said, you never think it's true. But now... well, it's a little mind blowing to learn that they crazy people on the streets, screaming about demons, and what not, aren't full of shit." He thought for a moment, someone them had have been crazy. Not that many folks, who lived outside of this world, could know about it, right?
A blood flavored cake? The thought alone made his stomach turn. "Weird... yeah." Rhett nodded. "Once before. It's pretty much a blur, really... though, when it first began to happen, and I didn't understand what was going on, I was pretty terrified." So much so, that he was dreading the next full moon. Though, now that he had some idea what to expect, surly it wouldn't be as bad. "That reminds me, Cassandra, why are you at the school?" Obviously, she was no were, and he hadn't spotted any fangs, so she couldn't be a vampire.
