Her smile was infectious, and he couldn't help but mirror it. "I'm Rhett, right?" Not too many southerners around, were there? That was a true shame. If you found the right sort, they could be more than friendly. Louisiana had some really friendly people, as did Texas, from his experience. His brother-n-law being one of the nicest guys, he'd ever had the pleasure of meeting. This woman, she was fairly friendly, or so he thought. She was more than willing to hold up a conversation with him, and he found her rambling to be rather cute. Though, as she introduced herself, he felt his jaw go slightly slack.
"Cassandra? You're Ada's little sister?" God damnit.... Recovering himself he returned the smile, stepping towards her. "Thank you, that's very--- sweet of you. For both the welcome, and brownies." Why, why, why, did she have to be Ada's sister? Before even meeting her, he'd made a promise to himself, that he'd keep an eye out for the girl, like he did her sister. Keep her away from any jerks, that might try to give her the run around. He was going to play the big brother, but now... Hell, he didn't know if he could. She was a knock out, and he really didn't want to look at her in that way.
But, she was also a kid... Ada's KID sister. "They look amazing, smell that way too." They were very enticing, he had to admit. "I'll have to hide them, I'm afraid they won't last long down here... I'll take them up to my room later though." This was going to be a difficult stay, he could all ready tell. "I'm really glad to meet you, Cassandra." Rhett took the plate, plucking one of the treats from it. "Let's sit down, and enjoy a few of these bad boys." He motioned towards the sofa.
