Her fingers tightened and scored along his skin as a small murmur of pleasure slipped past her lips. "A smart man..." she said, her voice holding a breathy quality. A mixture of the laughter that edged on her voice and the effect of his lips on her skin. That was always a heady mixture, no matter the years.
She'd brought the gift to him, something of breakfast in bed. Only with a macabre sense to it, though the truth of that still remained. There was something to be said for making old human traditions their own. Mostly though she wished just for that sharing of blood to be a moment, some time where little else mattered and the moment could be share and enjoyed. That so rarely happened anymore. At no fault of either one, simply the lay of the land anymore. The school took up more of their time than anyone activity ahd before. But more so than that... it was the threats that hung over the building all too frequently that kept moments of the day from being filled with the simple pleasures that had in the past been such a constant.
As his hands gripped her tighter, the smooth silk of the negligee that she wore gave way to the skin beneath, Selene arched into his touch. The bend of her form seeking more. It knew where her eternal optimism didn't want to see that such moments could be all too far apart and must be savored to their fullest.
Selene smoothed her hands along his cheeks, up and through the mussed strands of his hair as her head angled up. A hiss of air escaped her lips as his fangs pierced through the thin barrier of her skin. A sharp moment of pain that meant little as the warm flush of the blood pulled so close to the surface of her skin wiped that from her memory. Her fingers curled in tightly, nearly to his scalp as she pressed tightly to his form.
