Sydni was a really smart girl. Coming here had been a damn good decision. See, she was telling him things he'd known all along, things he'd told himself a dozen times. But hearing it from someone else just solidified that this was the only course of action. "You're right," he agreed. "I have to talk to Jillian." Yeah, like that would be easy. He couldn't even finish a sentence around her, let alone start a conversation like this. "I know it's pointless," he continued, "but I'll regret it forever, you know?" Sure she did. Sydni knew everything.
He contemplated Sydni's date idea, debating if it suited Cissy or not. his initial reaction was no. She was the type of girl who liked fancy, indoor stuff. The idea of sitting out in the bugs would gross her out. But then he thought again, about how Cissy wasn't really that girl and didn't want to be anymore.
"That's perfect," Simon credited Sydni. He sat up, smiling. "You're like, a genius. It's so simple. Why didn't I think of that?" Because his brain was fried, that's why. Too much thought. "Hey Syd, can I ask you a personal question? You don't have to answer if you don't want, but... was your first time... y'know, (*blush*) with someone intimately... was it special? I mean, did you plan it out, was it with someone you loved? I only ask because I'm wondering if maybe I'm freaking myself out over something that's not such a big deal."
