Vivian wished she could blame her delayed senses on her head being in the clouds, but the truth was, she'd reached such a comfort level within the castle, that she really didn't pay attention to who was around, while wandering. Outside, that was completely different, she was slightly paranoid outside, but on this island, could she really be blamed? No telling what sorts of things you might run into. It was something she needed to work on, being more aware, when she was within the school.
She nodded, "That's me, the famous, or infamous bartender, all depending on what you might have heard." Well, she was the best bartender in Hell, or The Pit, as it was now known. "Or right, the party at Wes' shop. That was a good time. I'm surprised Ari stuck around. I can hear him bitching about the music, and volume of it now." She said fondly, moving farther into the room, and leaning against another window seel, still facing the girl. No, they hadn't had the chance to speak, which was a shame, but she'd been a bit boy crazy that night. Taking her hand in return, she gave it a shake. "Evelyn is a beautiful name, but I'll call you Lyn. Less formal that way." Evelyn could call her whatever she liked, so long as it wasn't the walking dead, heh. "Obnoxious charm, yes, that is Ari in a nutshell, isn't it? He is quite irritating at times, yet I can't help but like him. One of the great mysteries of life, I think. Though, if he's referring to me as a friend, I'll have to give him grief about it. Probably make a banner or two annoucning his love of the undead. He'd adore that." He was a piece of work, but she found his ignorance of the human world far too entertaining at times.
"Oh, it was only temporary, thank goodness. The new management has decided to keep most of the employees on. Not surprising, we had to show them that we could in fact mix a decent drink." Which she supposed made sense, she'd likely want to know that those people working for her, were actually capable of doing their job. "I passed the test, so I will be there, behind the bar in The Pit, catering to the chaos that will be opening night. You, and Ari ought to go, there is a new strip club in what used to be Hell... Actually, I'd pay money to see his reaction to a woman sliding down a pole upsides down, wearing nothing but a purple leather g-string."
