The full moon, it was annoying to most of the student body. Especially those vampires, who couldn't leave the school at all. The night, it was like Christmas every day to them, so, when you weren't allowed to really enjoy it, it tended to piss you off. She was used to it by now, and, seeing as it only happened once a month, she was able to keep her bitching to a minimal. Besides, they had the entire day off, Wednesday, and that quite made up for it. Especially now that plans had been made to enjoy the more lurid activities of the evening. Well, if the Burning Man festival wasn't complete decadence, and chaos, she and the lovely little muse could always find away to turn their evening in that direction. Shouldn't be too difficult.
With her book officially complete, she had nothing more than homework to occupy her time with, completely exciting, really. Anything that would keep her mind straight in line, and off of a certain someone. A certain someone, whom whenever they happened to enter her thoughts, made her cry. Which was idiotic, she knew, but... she felt as if she'd lost another member of her family. She shouldn't feel that way about him.
She came very close to her breaking point once more, and decided it was time to focus on something else. The photos for her novel, she'd have a look over them. There were simply too many choices, ones that she liked at that. But, the cover had to represent the entire book. The cover could make, or break the book.It had to be perfect. So, with the portfolio in hand, she made her way into the common room sniffling softly, before clutching the bound black leather to her chest. Maybe she would run over, and get J's opinion, or Wes, or-- "Oh, hello." She paused just inside the door. It was easy to pass through a crowed room, without talking to anyone. But to do so, in a room with only one other occupant, now that was just rude.
"Evelyn, right? Or do you prefer Lyn? Sun-Ari calls you Lyn." The arrogant elves more or less girlfriend. The one she had been teasing him about the last time they hung out. Which was a while back, she really ought to check in on him. "I'm Vivian. I would say a friend of Aramil, but, I'm not so sure that is true, or not."
