Perhaps it was genuine. It didn't however sit well with Cassandra. She liked to think there was a great deal more to people merely then what the outside packaging had to offer. That was in great part due to her own viewed limitations. When a girl grew up thinking she'd have little of the typical contact with much of anyone... she tended to look for a bit more than the pretty factor in friends. Or maybe she just never thought she'd have anything to do with attractive people? She'd argue the former clearly.
It was... disconcerting at best to see her own form and yet hear the voice start to change, no longer sounding as she did but an odd mixture of her own tone and Xander's. She frowned at his words. "It doesn't always have to do with being shy. I'm not comfortable with revealing clothes though and I don't think that's... that's so wrong." She did manage to get out. Her lips slowly starting to curve into a smile. "And at least my lack of revealing clothing choices caught you in your trick." And no, she didn't explain more, just smiled.
Cassandra almost let out an audible sigh as his form finally changed to match the voice. Thank God. "I don't know that annoying them is helping much." Cassandra muttered under her breath as she surveyed the squawking birds. Darn things. Dream Cassandra hesitated for a moment, much as the real Cassandra would before reaching out to take his hand. "Think we can really get away from them? Or are they just going to follow."
This whole dream business was just really too weird. If it worked though, she might have to buy into the controlling part a bit more. Focus on that as much as possible.
