Which was more the pity, as Xander was more than perfectly willing to have sat back and watched one of those dreams as a member of the class. Even make sure to close the door behind her so she was stuck in the class for the entire lesson. But, unfortunately he was denied such a wonderful dream along with everything else and was stuck with Ravens. Lots and lots of Ravens. If he had known she had those dreams, he’d have felt quite cheated by the whole thing.
Instead, the fake Cassandra ran her arms down her side to smooth out the dress as her gaze wandered over the annoying birds, and she gave a soft smile toward the real deal. “They seem to want something from us..” she said as she tilted her head to the side. Once she got close to the real Cassandra, her hands would link behind her back, and she would stand there in an almost coy stance as she watched her. The birds, for the moment, ignored.
When her own hands went to make sure she was more clothed, the dream Xander couldn’t help but smile a bit. She was far too easily flustered in his opinion, or worried about covering up, even in her own dreams. “You feeling okay?” the dream image asked, before its attention was brought back toward the annoying and demanding Ravens. Of course, he didn’t realize that his ‘cover’ had been blow, since he wasn’t aware of the missing details.
But as the birds got close, and seemed to be demanding too much, even to his own limited senses in this regard, the dream Xander glanced back toward them and seemed to study them for the longest moments. “Can’t we just will them away?” was the question that floated out in Cassandra’s own voice as her eyes turned back upon her in a questioning glance.
