Ita wouldn't have been able to live in a space without making it hers. By the time she left Halcyon, she will have accumulated quite a bit of goods - already, her closet had extra bins of baking utensils stacked in it; bins that she did not bring in her suitcases. The pictures were just the beginning of her nesting. As time went on, she'd probably gather a good collection of things she liked that she found outside - shells, leaves and flowers (which she'd press or dry), pinecones, stones, feathers... She'd also have a good collection of, well, junk. Stuffed animals, knick-knacks, books, movies, funny lamps, pictureframes. But not having had the time to go into town and shop really, she hadn't gotten there, yet.
Hey, she had some good movies! She had plenty of senseless ones, but she also had some ones that friends had recommended, which were very good. Granted, she'd never had picked them herself, but once she saw them, she liked them well enough. Hearing that he had a soft spot for cheerleaders, she grinned deviously, and after setting up a picnic went over to her computer without saying a word, and pulled open a file. Turning the laptop to face him, she stated proudly, "I was a cheerleader..." And there she was, slideshow of her cheering days. She was rather cute in her tiny tiny skirt and normally loose hair pulled back in a ponytail. She only let it run for a few slides as she wasn't fanatical about cheering - she'd never been all that serious, just in it for the socializing. And the stunts. No fear, right?
Still smiling, she bounced back over to sit on the floor. "I hope you like it. A bit light, to be honest, but I packed fruit to fill it up." It was more for her sake - Xander did not need the physical sustenance to fill his hunger. She did. This was evident by her immediate dispatching of one of the pasties. Good thing there were two for each of them.
