"Well, I mean, we'll put a blanket on the floor. And I even have an ocean sounds CD." Giggling at the last part, Ita was well aware of how dorky and lame that sounded. She wasn't being totally serious. Well, about the CD. The blanket she was serious about.
Giggling again at his comments about the movies, she could only roll her eyes. She couldn't really imagine Xander getting flustered about much of anything - horror, romantic... or anything else. Practically bouncing, she leaned up and gave him a quick peck on the lips, then bounded her way to House Aquatic.
Upon reaching her room, she hurriedly opened the door and immediately set upon pulling the spare comforter off the extra bed. Stuffed animals (a few) and extra pillows were shoved unceremoniously off the side of the bed, and the comforter was pulled down onto space between the two beds. Pleased with her quick work of things, she turned to Xander. "Pick a movie, any movie." Grinning, she gestured to the collection of DVDs stacked in her bookcase. There were family pictures on the wall, including an old one of her parents from before she was born. There were some posters, as well, too, but otherwise, the main 'warmth' to the room was the one created by the patchwork quilts from Aunt Lissa.
Once Xander seemed settled on his new task, she set to pulling out all the necessary goodies from the basket.
