Sam did her best to smile even after Easton had kissed her, the guilt from the action causing her stomach to turn. It was an odd sort of cruel mixture though. On one hand she felt guilty because of what she was inevitably going to do but on the other, she felt guilty because she had just kissed the man who wasn't the one she wanted to be with. It really sucked how everything seemed to be working against her.
"Oo I love gifts," she managed as she reached out for the wine with a grin. Good, she was going to need some alcohol before things got started. Why hadn't she thought about that in the first place? Might have had something to do with she and Jax polishing off the last drops of alcohol that Sam had around. Ugh, that drinking binge hadn't been a good idea. "Good, because I got enough for twelve."
The takeout boxes on her floor seemed endless in numbers mainly because she liked a selection and didn't know what Easton would be in the mood for. Making sure to grab a couple of glasses she had stashed first, she took a seat on the blanket and waited for him to open the bottle. "So how was your day?" she asked as she handed over a pair of chopsticks. Nothing like a little small talk before dropping one hell of a bomb.
