Today had been a very strange day. She had woken up, not in her room, but still at the club, covered from head to toe in proof of last night's actions and so very sore that she could hardly move. She had dressed quickly and soundlessly and taken her leave, heading immediately for the showers once reaching the sanctuary of Halcyon Halls. And from there, it had just gotten stranger.
If there were any such thing as an emotional roller coaster, Davia was on it. She was upset, sobbing in fact, and then amused and elated. She would laugh for a while about different things, and then she'd be curled up in a ball crying again less than an hour later. There were moments when the pain in her body, those subtle reminders aout what had taken place, made her whimper softly with the want for it to happen again, and other times when she felt incredibly stupid for what she had done. So many emotions in there, and she hadn't the slightest idea how to really deal with any of them. And that was probably the main reason that she had told Sydni that she could drop by. Who else was she going to talk to? Kat? Kissy? Both of those options were quite laughable.
She was full swing in the middle of another one of those down moments, kicking herself for talking about things that were better left unsaid and unknown, when she heard the knock on the door. She sighed and then started to speak, finding her voice too soft to be heard. She cleared her throat and tried again. "Come on in." Was she ready for this? Was this a good idea? She wasn't really certain just yet. Time would tell though. She couldn't know until she tried it.
