"A second masters? On top of planning a wedding?" Sam could only shake her head at the thought and laugh. "Did you check to make sure that she wasn't abducted by aliens?" She was teasing of course, but that was still a lot for anyone to take on. "Next time you talk to her tell her that I say congrats and good luck." There was no question that she was going to need all the luck she could get. "I was thinking maybe I could try during winter break. What do you think?" That would give her another six months to get better with the whole control thing so it could work.
When he brought up Dora, she couldn't help but laugh. "Dora the Explorer, dork." A quick kiss was placed to his cheek while she grinned. "She's a cartoon character and they made a live stage show based on her." Silly Easton. Clearly she needed to make him sit down and watch some more cartoons with her. "It was a lot of fun. I'll show you the thousand pictures I took once I get them uploaded."
Part of Sam was really frustrated and sad that Easton hadn't considered what being at the school meant to her. It was just to continue her education, but to gain control over something she couldn't ever really put into words. "I don't know that I would say I'm comfortable with it, but I'm remembering more from my shifts and I'm not quite as sore afterward." While it was slow coming, there was still progress being made. "I still have a long way to go though." The never-ending laps she had to do in the pool were proof enough for that.
"I know it's still a ways off, but I'm probably still going to have to be here once you decide to move on. Are you going to be able to live without me for a few years?"
