Clove was enjoying the attention. His eyes closed and a grin settled comfortably on his face. He was still listening! He was just comfortable and relaxed. The heat of her body and the blanket, along with being tired already was beginning to catch up with him - but in a good way. "Miserable?" he said smirking. His eyes would have belied a worried look had they been open, "Is Kat being a douche again?"
There went that part of him that was half-trucker. He tried to keep the name-calling and choice words down to a minimum, but sometimes that internal censor between his brain and his mouth didn't quite work all that efficiently. Clove habitually ran a finger over the outline of her wings, "Cause I'll talk to her again if you want me too." Clove still didn't quite understand why she was so insecure, but he was honestly trying to help.
"Yeah. Had just enough time to put my bags in my room and run outside." Clove said, his eyes opening. "Shit. I think I might have ran into someone pretty hard on my way out too. Can't remember." He chuckled lightly, but it was muffled when Frankie's lips fell over his. Leaning into her, he grinned into the kiss, "Careful, I might have to leave again if I keep get welcomed home like this".
