Of course they went for runs! The little guy needed to get out and get some exercise, didn't he? And a morning jog was already part of East's routine, so he didn't see any point in changing that. Instead, he incorporated Prince right on in and that seemed to work out wonderfully.
It was moments like this that made all of the stress leading up to confessing his feelings for Sam worth it. His arms were still around her waist, one hand dipping just below the hem of her shirt to rest against the warm skin of her lower back. She was practically in his lap, not that he was complaining, and East was in no hurry to make her move. Even as she drew back, both of them panting slightly from lack of oxygen, he was in no hurry to release her.
"I think I feel nearly completely thanked," he joked, reaching up to brush a stray lock of hair from her forehead. It was amazing, given the heat between the two, that they managed to keep that little make-out session from going any further. Not that East wasn't tempted, or that his mind hadn't strayed in that direction at all, mind you. Sam wanted to take things slow and so he tried as best he could to keep that in mind.
