Pictures. The boys did love them and Rozlyn could, for now, put up with them. Ask her again in about ten minutes though and that whole tolerance thing might be just a bit faded. She did want to remember the day however, always grateful for any pictures or tokens from their lives that reminded her just what they had worked so hard for. But there weren't many women that enjoyed their picture being taken while preparing for childbirth.
Once the flashing and posing ceased Rozlyn watched the group make their way out. Her boys. She could hear them even as they took steps away; they weren't exactly the quietest of demons. But that only made her smirk a bit...especially when she could hear Aidan's squeals for being tossed into the air.
It wasn't long before her focus on her boys was rather diverted back to the child at hand. A contraction making her grit her teeth and curl claws into the fabric of the bed that rather shredded under the force. Eyes closed didn't open, not even when Axel's hand found her own and it was he that felt the force of that squeeze rather then the poor bed.
A while yet, not what she wanted to hear of course. She slumped back against the bed with a sigh, her hand still curled around one of Axel's own. "I think each kid is trying to outdo the other..." Aidan had taken longer then Xael, now this one was determined to take longer then Aidan. Stubborn. But Rozlyn was certain she was even more stubborn then the babe.
"Sounds like it..." she mused, the nurse giving her an odd look before checking to see how dilated she was. The nurse might think the words odd but with them they were all too true. If Rozlyn was done waiting, she'd be done waiting. The kid would just have to deal with it.
How well that worked out was another matter all together really. But she was persistent. She did have to groan just slightly for the news of how far dilated she was. Kid wasn’t nearly as eager as Rozlyn wanted them to be.
Rozlyn waited till the nurse was gone before shifting just enough to lay her head against Axel’s arm. “Aidan seem alright?” this was all new to the little demon, little but soon not to be the littlest anymore. They’d spoken with him many times about all of it but words were vastly different at times then reality, and that reality was all too apparent now.
She knew even if he struggled they’d make it through it; they’d gone through this with Xael after all. But Aidan was a bit more of an…attention lover then Xael had been. Not that he didn’t get into his fair share of troubles but Aidan, of the two, was certainly the louder and wilder child.
