"That would be nice. I would appreciate that." Davia said, accepting his ride, glad that he had offered it. Again she hoped that he would understand her desire for silence along the way. She had a lot to think about now, there was a lot that needed to sink in. It was a nice slice of reality and it would take a little time for her to digest it.
The car ride was silent and she was thankful for that. She couldn't help but to notice that the car was really nice, and she did remark on it at some point in time but not in such a way that would indicate she wanted to start a whole conversation about it.
They arrived at the school in very little time and she found herself climbing out with a "thank you". A small smile was given as she returned the sentiment, "You too, Cassius", and hoped that the use of his first name wasn't too informal. She saw herself in, bed quickly following her arrival though the night would be more than a little sleepless.
