"Stupid candy bags!" Kissy was not pleased with the lack of ease in gaining access to candy. This was like getting a candy bar with faulty packaging that didn't rip open easily. Or that super shrink-wrapped food you wanted really badly. Or avacadoes. Those were really hard to get to the parts you ate. Kissy really liked avacado.
But she was more of do-it-yourself kind of gal than might originally meet the eye. Kissy plucked the package out of Knock's hand and placed it on her hand, palm up. Then she pulled out the strands of ribbon. In a second, she'd snapped the strong band with her teeth and the bag just fell open. Voila!
Kissy popped one in her mouth and offered them out to Knock. Chances were half the items he put on the bed were never going to actually get put away until the end of next semester. "Yeah, I mean, it's kinda quiet." she commented. Knee-jerk reaction was that Knock Knock was kind of nice. She liked his name or nickname or whatever. If she was a different person she might even have considered it post-modern. He was also kind of cute for a guy who wore all dark colors.
"So like, Manchest. Is that in Canada or something?" That was no joke.
