Kissy felt, like, immediately remorseful for asking. It had to suck to not have a family. Who would lend you five bucks or like, bring the food to potlucks or whatever? "Oh." But one had to grasp the positive to swing over the negative. So, Kissy did. She reached past the faux pas to pull them up to something a little...happier.
"Well, like, I don't smell like sprinkles. Because they're really, just like, pieces of sugar or whatever and pink really doesn't smell like anything. Most pink things are really flowers unless it's, like, artificial coloring. Do you dye your hair? It's so dark!" The hair mention was a totally good save. His hair was a pretty impressive dark color, although he totally needed a shampoo that would give him a little more body and lift. Although he might get flyaway and have to style with hairspray.
"Oh hey! My room's, like, over here!" She grabbed his arm to turn them before they walked by. Kissy wasn't far from the entrance of the hallway. This meant she could leave her door open and see everyone coming or going. Or, more accurately, talk to everyone coming and going. "Tee hee! I still get lost!" She had tried to add an image of the school map to her cellphone, but she couldn't get it to go right and when she maximized the view stuff got too small. Someone said something about, like, piecing it and resolution or something, but Kissy had gone to dinner and forgotten about it. Like, a month ago. Whatever, she could just ask people or call somebody if she got lost.
