"Wha?" The tail was already gone. Kissy had this...advantage of immediately being noticed almost always in a room full of supernaturals. Especially with enhanced senses. Especially new weres who wondered where the open-air bakery in, like, a field full of flowers came from suddenly. What the human-level sensors didn't understand was how strange it was to those who used scent as a...more primary sense for detection. Still, it was never really considered unpleasant. But that was to say, demons usually noticed she was around. Her high pitched voice didn't hurt either.
Without missing more than a beat she kept on, now walking forward, but with her upper body practically twisted backwards to look back at him. It was a wonder she didn't trip over her own heels. "You are, seriously? Well, okay, Innia means grandma in faeric or whatever. And like, she's got some serious super wicked illusion magic. Like, when I was little she used to make the entire house like a pink castle for me, it was so awesome. Like, I know I totally can't do that, but I'm sooo good with my own illusions and stuff. No one does flavor like me." In a big family of magic users, Kissy had forcefully shoveled herself a niche amongst them. While her flavors were, honestly, nothing more than what some of the older people could do, she was still advanced for her age.
With her focus, she'd probably have a considerable repertoire in about a hundred years. "I bet they totally miss it, like, I don't even know how other people survive!" It was true. The whole concept of one's body actually smelling bad was so entirely foreign to her. She smelled others who did, but having it come from yourself? That sounded like a nightmare!
"Are your parents coming up here or something?" This is where Kissy's ignorance came in. It was hard for her to understand the concept of no family. Like, it happened, but then those people were usually adopted by someone else. Her parents were the adopted 'aunt and uncle' of a bunch of different people. They were just that type of people. Kissy was too, as she was adopted into their family as well. One of her many 'cousins' of so much mention.
