Pre-Auction milling and chit chat
A date auction, now this was something Valeria could get into. Call it a slave auction and she'd like it even more. Though what kind of serious funds they hoped to generate when the cover was a measly $10 she didn’t know. Oh well, they’d need to make up for it in the auction itself.
Were these drinks and appetizers a part of that $10 cover? Surely it didn’t cover the cost. Leave it to Vale to so selfless give all of himself to the effort. And what was this? He was also on the auctioning block? Interesting. Terribly so.
And what have we here? Charlie Burghard. My my my, this little fund raiser was just getting more and more interesting. Val walked about, wine glass in hand, watching the busy milling about, though not initiating small talk with anyone. More, she was taking them all in, learning a bit about the students at Halcyon. Eventually a beautiful, confident young woman took the stage. Hmm… she bared quite a strong resemblance to Valeria.
