Braden chuckled and glanced over to Ari. The human had spunk, he had to give her that much. The shot she fired to split his own arrow was mildly impressive but he wasn't about to go out of his way to tell her such. Eventually she would come up short in the end so no need to go and get her hopes up or anything. That would just be cruel.
When Ari stepped up and repeated the favor, he smirked and couldn't help but feel a slight sense of pride. It really was fortunate that Ari wasn't embarrassing himself, Braden would hate to have to disown his roommate. Although having the room to himself wouldn't be all that bad now that he thought about it. Hmm.
When Kate laid the next target, Braden shook his head and took aim. Really now, how bad did she think they were? What elf wouldn't be able to hit such a thing when they were trained to shoot to survive? Rabbits were particularly small and tasty and he had killed more than his fair share. With the arrow drawn, he lined up and let the shot fly. Perfect. "Maybe next time you could present more of a challenge..."
