The new arrow shot drew Ari’s attention as well, as he glanced over his shoulder. Given the fact he could not hear the person’s approach, told him all he needed to know about who was the newcomer. The other elf got a bow of his head in greeting.
“About time you showed up. I was wondering if you were afraid of the young lady.” Ari said with a chuckle and a shake of his head. He then pulled his own arrow free from his quiver and lined up his own aim of the arrows. A moment later his own was flying across the field to split Kate’s as well.
“You’re going to have to shoot better than that if you want to beat either of us.” The elf said as he smirked at the other man, and then he inclined his head once toward Kate. “Whoever wishes to place the next target, feel free…” as he motioned toward the targets across the field.
For his part, Aramil tilted his head from side to side to crack the joints in his neck, before he stepped to the side, his bow having been shifted to easily fit along the underside of his arm as he waited for them to figure out who was going to be the next person to fire.
