"I'd like to. After I leave here, I want to do a bit of traveling, before I go back home. America is on the top of the list, so I imagine that'll be the first place I head to." He wondered, if it was like the American version of London. London was always so active, and you could always find something to do. Rufus imagined that they were similar, but different. "Is New York far from where you grew up? I know on a map, it all looks fairly close."
In complete agreement with her, he chuckled. He had to think for a moment, considering how early his mother had began to teach him. "About... Thirteen years. My mom taught me how, and I've been playing ever since. I also play bag pipes, and a bit of drums. Though, I'm rubbish with drums." Guitar had always been his main focus, and... he wasn't one to toot his own horn, but he was damn good.
"That's what everyone with their own room has said, but I can't really complain. I'm rooming with Clove Dalry. He's a Scot as well, so we get along pretty good. I like it actually, he's one of the few people here, that I can use slang around, and he doesn't look at me, as if I'm a complete nutter." Kate was another person he didn't have to curve his accent around, it was nice that way.
