Combine the two of them and the list of things not understood would become astronomical. Or maybe just doubled in a lot of ways. Cassandra was trying to understand why people did a lot of the things they did but it wasn't always so easy to do that. Even when people did explain... maybe she just didn't the explanations either. Kind of made her feel like she was from another planet sometimes. But she was trying to just accept that little fact about herself. It was probably okay to not get everything that others said and did.
"Does it count all the races that have uhm.." her head canted to the side as she tried to figure out the best way to phrase it. "have mixed?" Probably made for some interesting combinations from what Cassandra could tell. Well aside from vampires since she knew, or at least thought she knew that they couldn't reproduce. But who knew, there was probably something out there that could totally change that idea she thought she had. "Thanks! I'll definitely keep the list handy for those rare days where I actually finish all of my homework early." Or when she just needed a break from it, that was far more likely.
It was important thing, to ask if someone actually wanted to do something. Maybe it seemed like common sense or even if you knew that it was something another wouldn't have a problem with. But if that right was taken from someone... sure as heck made it important to not have it snatched away again, even when it came to small things. Not that Cassandra was quite that philosophical on the matter but she knew she didn't like to be pushed into things she didn't want to do. For example, she did tend to feel guilty that she didn't go and see her sister play, especially when people questioned her about it... but she also couldn't help how incredibly uncomfortable those kind of places made her. No win situation really.
Maybe it didn't seem like a lot in the advice department but it was more than enough for Cassandra. Really it was all that she could have thought to do. If Ada wanted to talk to her about it she could, but Cassandra was pretty sure she wouldn't be high on the relationship talk list. Probably a good thing.
Cassandra's nose wrinkled up immediately, a look of definite 'ewww' was all over her face. "The 5 second rule is so not true. Germs germs and more germs! Gross!" She said with a laugh. Nope, Cassandra wasn't eating any candy off the floor. Micah and his supernatural immune system could have a hack at those, she'd pass. Yick. "So maybe I'll have to remember to confiscate the candy from you before I get too tired." She warned teasingly with a waggle of her pointer finger.
Cassandra wiggled a bit until she had the exact comfortable spot on the couch, which was then ruined by the fact that she wanted to have a little snack ready and in her lap. Popcorn of course, this was movie watching. "Yeah! That's what they are called. Good, fastforward or this bowl of popcorn." She picked up on kernel and flicked it in Jasper's direction, grinning, "will end up allllll over the floor and probably you!"
