He just laughed as she hit his arm, and he kept his grin on her. “Well, I do try.” He said, before he tilted his head slightly. “Oh, there’s more to that story, I’m quite sure.” He said as he arched a brow toward her. “Being more responsible, huh? Just what in the world did you do at this finals that you’d have to be more responsible and not use the word ‘eat’ when referring to responsible, huh?”
“Oh, a sweet vampire…” Xander said after a moment as he seemed to consider it. “Definitely not someone I would know then. Crowd I walk in, you’d be even more pale as they snack on you all the time.” He shifted himself up so that he was sitting next to her, even as he reached his hand out to run his fingers along the small of her back, and her spine. “Uh huh… you just like him… but not like like him.. or so the saying goes, right?”
He tilted his head slightly as he regarded her for another moment. “I take it, there’s been no biting then… tell me you’ve at least made out with the guy?”
