He took the brownies, though he couldn’t help but smirk a bit at the kiss on his cheek/neck. It was, after all, not his preferred area, but women always seemed to have their own mind on what was a ‘proper greeting’. Besides, who was he to argue? He paused for a moment to sniff at the brownies, before he grinned a bit. “What? Baking isn’t doing it for you anymore?” he asked with a wink, before he closed the door.
He waved his free hand through the air as he regarded the computer. “I was losing anyway, I think. Ah well. I can always just tell the others I had a cute girl bounce into my room, so I got distracted. It’ll get me out of any bragging rights they might feel they deserve.” Xander grinned at that. It wasn’t the full truth, but it was close enough, right?
“Aren’t finals supposed to do that?” he asked with a laugh before he inclined his head. “And, oh yeah, keeping myself occupied if nothing else. Though, I do miss surfing lessons of late.”
