Few things fazed Ita for long. It was certainly an emotional meeting, but how could she remain sad when her parents were happy?
Ita was worrying that it was a bad place - she was vaguely imagining the tortured souls of the Greek Underworld, those not ready to drink from the River Lethe and reincarnate. Some book she'd read, well, was supposed to read, in school. I-something. There was a lot of fighting and names she couldn't pronounce.
"No... Are they going now?" Her expression changed to a sadder expression. She'd had them for a moment. Even if it was through a translator, she'd known where they were and how they felt. She'd even been able to talk to them. Softly, she asked, "Do you think they'll come back again? Or are they moving on?" Her eyes very obviously begged that they would be back again. But she knew they couldn't stay around forever. She could let them go if they needed to move on.
