Ita had a vivid imagination and didn't really need Fisher's description to see her parents smiling at her. She had it in her memories, and was certain they were indeed smiling on her wherever she was.
Smiling, Ita did her best to guess where her mother's hand was, and reached out to give it a "squeeze". Then she stood and leaned over, and made the attempt to hug her mom. Going over to where her father was, she did the same, chuckling a bit at how he was nudging Fisher's arm. Smiling at Fisher, she answered softly, "Yes, that was." Reaching down, she took his hand and gave it a squeeze. He'd really done something wonderful for her.
Sitting down again, she asked, "So, where are you? Like, most of the time? You don't just follow me around do you?" She wasn't paranoid about her parents doing so, just she wasn't sure what else they would do.
