Recognizing the figure as he came closer, Sydni's spirits lifted even a bit more - it was a pleasant surprise to bump into her friend here. Nodding in confirmation to his statement, she gave him a small quizzical smile at the strange word, and then blushed at the reference to her night of inebriation.
"Better than Saturday morning," she admitted. It wasn't that she had been ill, just not really well, either. Her blush deepening, she apologized again. "I'm sorry. That you had to take care of me like that. And thank you, again." It wasn't that she had been fall down drunk. Well, discounting that one accident, but she had been rather erratic.
"What brings you to the beach? I thought you didn't care much for the water?" Yes, she had a memory for the smallest details. She remembered things about the people who she found interesting, or about whom she cared. Mircea was definitely interesting, and now she counted him as a friend. To be honest, he didn't need to work so hard to convince her he was trustworthy. Her nature made her a trusting person - once someone made the effort to get to know her, she could trust them easily. And it took a rather huge breech of trust to break it once it was gained. Perhaps not wise, on her part, but it was how she had always been.
