Mircea had actually been flying overhead when he'd spotted Sydni. The ocean breeze had some nice currents to it and the thermals rising made it easy for him to glide, creating a rather nice and lazy afternoon flight. Only when he'd spotted Sydni had he considered flying back to his clothing and stepping out onto the beach to meet her as she walked. He'd banked and then winged down, landing in the woods amidst his clothing before he'd returned to the beach. He'd foregone shoes, instead deciding to walk barefoot as he often had back home. He loved the feel of the warm sand beneath the soles of his worn feet.
As he approached Sydni, he recalled how drunk she'd been the last time they'd met. Their encounter hadn't exactly been a good one, but it'd almost been a necessary one. He didn't know yet if their encounter had caused her to trust him any more than she already had. He hoped that it had.
Raising his hand in a lazy wave, he shot Sydni a smile as he approached. "Nice evening for a walk, eh, jel'ruv*? Are you feeling better?"
