"Yeah I'll get right on that after I win the lottery," she said with a roll of her eyes. Not that she couldn't do it without the cash, but eating a la dumpster just didn't hold the same appeal as it once did. Besides, she needed to establish herself with something and have some form of employment before she went running around the world. Good thing she had that extended lifespan working in her favor now. Who knew it would come in handy? "Aww you think I'm a raging bitch? That's so sweet."
Kat hated talking on the phone almost as much as she hated emailing. It was like pulling teeth to get her to do either. That said, he was still her dad and maybe she would make an exception because she would miss him too. Maybe. Not that she was really all that worried about him being too lonely. He did have River and his chef to keep him company. "You know if you stopped writing shit on napkins you'd be better off." Especially when said napkins were used. Ew. "Appreciation is accepted in the form of cash and/or presents," she replied with a cheeky grin.
"Scout's honor," she said with a nod as she held up her hand in some sort of salute. She had no idea if it was even close to being right but whatever. "SHHHHHHHH! Christ, there are ears everywhere!" Last thing she needed was for someone to overhear that she was some kind of softy or something. Pfft! That shit did not run in the family, mmkay? "Yeah well you donated half of my genes, you're not supposed to think I'm the second coming of Satan." It was true.
Finishing up her food, she smirked before she spoke again. "So, ready to see how fast my bike can go?" Oh hells yes, on a full stomach and everything!
