Lyn felt relaxed against him and when his arms encircled her, she stirred slightly. Her gaze was focused out into the night, that is until Xander spoke again. Sometimes simplicity was best, on that she agreed. And the smile that was on her lips matched the bare nod of her head he could feel against his chest.
"You don't?" She said softly, her voice had the same languid quality her body did at the moment. As his lips touched her hair, her arms moved to circle over his, her hands moving back and forth slowly, caressing his forearms. "Not now," she said, though she found his words kind and thoughtful. But another time perhaps she could attempt to describe her own perspective on the beauty of nature.
Her head turned up toward his, her eyes still reflecting that jade green that they had fluctuated for part of the evening. His words obviously found their mark. She found her eyes locked on his and she couldn't look away. She wasn't sure she wanted to at the moment. "I feel...." She felt like she was being treated like a princess, like a woman who had stepped into something else, somewhere else and she wasn't being treated like child anymore. It felt amazing.
Her heart thudded in her chest again and it was so loud in her own ears she wondered if he could hear it. A feeling of warmth spread from where his hand touched her and she felt it throughout her body. She turned even more toward him, but kept his hand over her breast, not wanting him to let go of her. Her lips met his readily and that same desire came back stronger than before and she wanted him, needed him, right then.
