Lyn didn't take particular notice of his familiarity with the place. She had yet to see the musician out of place anywhere she'd seen him. She didn't know much of his background save what he had selected to share, but his extravagance was becoming apparent.
The more Xander touched her, the more it felt familiar. Reminding her of the dreams and fantasies she'd been inadvertently entertaining almost since they'd met. If he had any idea how tightly wound she was, he might not tease her so...or at least she thought. Where his lips brushed her neck, she got goose bumps, an involuntary shiver shooker her body as if she were cold.
She watched as he pulled away and followed as asked. She stepped up to the edge of the balcony, leaning her head over a moment to take a deep breath of the cooler night air. When she looked up, the view was every bit as spectacular as it had promised to be through the glass. She straightened herself, realizing that he was close again, standing at her back. She leaned against him, closing her eyes. "I feel a little dizzy," she said her thought aloud, not having meant to speak it.
She managed a smile at his words, turning her head so that her cheek rested against his chest. It felt comfortable. "There is much beauty in nature...." She half-murmured. "It's...." She was quiet, searching for the right words. "...I don't know how to describe it."
