It was decadent. Deliciously so, as far as the demon was concerned. But then, he also lived for such things. The demon would seem to be just as much at home in this environment as he had been in the club. Nothing seemed to be unfamiliar, and he seemed to be quite at easy here. Xander, however, just smiled at her words as he rested his hands on her waist for a moment, and he tilted his head down to brush his lips against her neck. “You are a hard taste to resist.” He whispered teasingly, before he pulled away and he began to walk. “Follow me…” he then said as he headed toward the balcony. As he moved away, however, he would let his fingers trace along her back, and side before she was out of reach.
Not once did he look back, or over his shoulder. Nor did he even pause or slow down in the least as he walked toward the exit. It was almost as if, he knew she was going to be right behind him, or fully expected her to be. He slide the door open and stepped out onto the balcony and he took a deep breath as he walked over toward the edge. The building wasn’t very tall, but it was definitely an advantage over the ground. Despite the darkness, the water would be quite clear in view, with the moonlight shimmering off its surface, and the stark contrast between the city lights and the water’s edge.
“I prefer to be on the beach..” he would say when she came out onto the balcony. When she came close, he would reach his arm out to slide it around her shoulders and pull her back in close to him. He would then move to stand behind her, his arms resting on the railing on either side of her, even as his gaze rested out on the view beyond. “But, I have to admit… this view is almost as beautiful as you are.”
