Evelyn arched an eyebrow, but listened intently to the demon. It was a little strange to her, but not from a gross perspective and she didn't take any offense. It was different. It was alien to her to think of how people might differ in that respect. But he was right. It was another sense and just one that she wasn't given. "Alright then," she agreed with his point. "I do have to eat to live, so I suppose it's not so terribly different."
She wondered as he left if it was similar to vampirism. Would he actually die from not feeding...wither away...go insane? She eyed one of the other shots as she waited. To her credit, she had no intention of getting drunk. Not for fear however. She didn't see the Pit as dangerous, just...unusual. In her head, it seemed no more decadent than with a fae party. She never felt unsafe at those. And with so many people around, the Pit seemed secure.
She thought for a moment that Ari would probably not want to come even to see if things had changed. Though how was her plan going to work if she couldn't get the elf to come and indulge a little? Maybe she could convince him otherwise. Just maybe.
It was another moment before Xander returned and Lyn's beer was practically gone. She looked up as he presented his friend, blinking slightly. He was actually serious? She did seem pretty, the California good-looks that she would expect the demon to be attracted to. She moved over in the booth, now huddled against the corner she tried not to feel claustrophobic. Tried, being the keyword.
As Xander outed her right then and there, Lyn turned red even in the darkness. She looked at him as if couldn't believe first that he'd done it, and secondly that he said it. "Nice to meet you," she shook the offered hand with a slight smile. No matter how uncomfortable it seemed, Lyn was by nature friendly and polite. She wouldn't send the woman away, though for a moment it looked like she might want to. "I'm sorry, it seems my...," she looked at Xander,"...friend thinks he's funny. You really don't have to do anything."
