It sounded weak to his ears as well, which might help explain why that grin of his only grew as he watched her. “Oh, mysteries are there only to be solved, yes?” he asked, his voice almost teasing as his eyes looked over her expression for a long moment. “Pity. I’ve never snacked on a Fae before.” Well, that wasn’t entirely true. There were the dreams, but it was always so much more pleasurable in person.
“And that’s good. Drunk women never dance real good. Fun to watch.. but not to dance with.” He even went so far as to waggle his finger at her, as if he was warning her about it. “Nice to hear that you can hold your booze. All that talk in class about how frail Fae were.. I was beginning to worry you’d be an easy drunk.” He winked at her as he said that.
Of course, her question made him laugh and shake his head a little bit. “A succubus, of course. Who better to teach the art of making women happy… then the demons known for such things?” Of course, he wasn’t about to name just who the demoness might’ve been. Not right then and there anyway, but it was something easily enough fixed.
“My impression of you? My dear Fae, I doubt you know just what my impression of you might be. But.. before we get any further into that.. I’ve got a silly male fantasy to indulge in.” Another wink was given to her, and he was out of the chair and into the club proper as he headed over toward the stripper stage.
