“Looks aren’t everything, but they’re usually what attracts you in the first place.” Xander said with a laugh as he pulled up at the club. “Admit it, you tend to talk to pretty people first. While you might be close to some not so pretty ones, its always the pretty ones that catch your eye first and you talk to quicker.” He just grinned at her as he slipped out of the truck and turned toward the club itself.
“Well, aren’t Fae wilderness types anyway? I wouldn’t have thought you’d enjoy the city anyway. But then again… being half of anything tends to throw normal stuff right out the window, doesn’t it?” At least it did for all the half breeds he knew. Half demons who didn’t know how to act like a demon, it really was a sad turn of events in the long run. “I know I didn’t know any Fae back home in Los Angeles. Or at least none that revealed themselves as such.”
The club would definitely be busy, being opening night and everything. But it wouldn’t take too long for the pair to make their way into the building, and then down into the Pit itself fully. Once inside, however, Xander would pause and his breath would be a quick, sudden intake of air as he just stood there and his gaze turned around the newly minted Pit, as if he had never been in a club quite like it before.
