"Probably a good policy," she agreed with a smile. "But looks aren't everything." Easy to say surrounded by so many beautiful people mayhaps. And Xander was entirely too easy on the eyes. She turned her gaze back to the window, nodding a bit to what he said. "Somehow, I just bet you have," she commented in a half-murmur to his being physical in his pleasures. She grinned, a sideways glance given to him. "I'll have you know that I can dance perfectly well, thank you very much."
A shrug followed, "I get out of school often enough. I like spending time in the woods. I even met someone out by the lake earlier this week who was really nice. I just don't venture out into the city too often." Just one of those things. At times during the day. But not usually at night. She was just a sort of country girl at heart. But there was something to be said for the city, though she knew someone who would entirely disagree.
Lyn didn't know what she had to be afraid of in the end. She was here to have a good time, and why shouldn't she? It's not like she intended anything to happen. Maybe Xander would prove to be an unlikely and good friend. Maybe Lyn wasn't entirely innocent, at least not in the way most thought. But in other ways, so trusting and openly friendly. She had to figure out at times that not everything was as it seemed. At least not at first.
